Maggie Cook is a knitwear designer and maker based in the U.K.
After graduating from The London College of Fashion in the early 1993,and after working as a jerseywear designer in London's west end, Maggie wanted to design more bespoke and feminine knitwear so with the aid of a grant from The princes Trust in 1999 Maggie Cook's own label was launched.
Most of her collections were first sold at London's young designer markets of Portobello Road and Spitalfields in East London, which then lead to selling to Boutiques in London and even Hong Kong.
Many designs have also been featured in magazines such as The Saturday Times, You magazine (the mail on Sunday) Instyle and The Daily Telegraph.
